Finally got around to installing the Navitas AC Conversion Kit on my Club Car DS. The 4KW motor fits perfectly, and the power boost is noticeable. The install was pretty straightforward, especially with the on-the-fly programmer included. I did have to purchase the additional harness for my old Regen DS model, but it was worth it to upgrade to the IQ system. Overall, very satisfied with the performance, just wish it came with more detailed instructions.

I wasn’t sure if I could fit the 5KW motor in my 1995 DS, but with a bit of effort, it’s totally doable. I had to relocate the shock mount and get it welded again, but the power upgrade is absolutely worth it. Also, don’t forget to grab the 36V to 48V conversion harness—it’s essential for making this kit work with older models like mine. Now my cart runs like a dream!
