Upgrading a 36V EZGO TXT Series, DCS, or PDS Vehicle?
If your EZGO TXT is currently equipped with a 36V Series, DCS, or PDS drive system and you would like to install this Navitas TAC3 AC Conversion Kit, your vehicle must first be upgraded to either a 48V or 72V battery configuration.
After upgrading the battery system, the vehicle must be properly adapted to work with the Navitas AC drive system. Depending on your vehicle’s existing electrical configuration, this may involve either a PDS conversion jumper harness or a complete vehicle wiring harness replacement.
The upgrade process typically consists of:
- Upgrade the vehicle from 36V to 48V or 72V.
- Install the appropriate conversion jumper harness or replacement wiring harness.
- Install the Navitas TAC3 AC Conversion Kit.
For PDS vehicles: A conversion jumper harness can be used to connect the existing PDS vehicle harness to the Navitas controller without replacing the entire main harness.
EZGO TXT PDS 36V to 48V Upgrade Conversion Harness for Navitas AC System
For Series and DCS vehicles: A complete main vehicle wiring harness replacement is typically required. PDS owners may also choose this full harness option instead of using the jumper harness.
