Does this cable work for a 2013 Club Car Villager 6 Gas, or is it only for 2009 models? Also, does it come pre-lubricated?

The cable itself is solid, but my package was delayed by FedEx, which was frustrating. Once it arrived, it worked fine on my 2010 Villager 6. Just wish shipping was faster.
