Installed Jake’s Sport Shifter on my Yamaha G16, and it’s a game-changer! Shifting between forward and reverse is now seamless. The standard threading allowed me to add a custom hand grip for a personalized touch. Highly recommend for all Yamaha G14-G22 owners.

The sport shifter works well on my Yamaha G22. Installation was straightforward, but the instructions could be clearer. Once set up, shifting is much smoother than the stock lever. A solid upgrade for the price.

Pretty happy with this Jake’s sport shifter for G14–G22. Easy to install, took maybe 30 mins. My only gripe is the handle was a little tight on reverse, but once adjusted it worked smooth. Looks aggressive and sporty — worth it!

Does this thing work with a G14 that has a rear seat kit? I can’t seem to get the linkage lined up right. Anyone else run into that issue? I might’ve installed it wrong. Yamaha cart shifter upgrade sounds awesome in theory tho.

Wow. Just wow. This shifter changed the whole vibe of my cart. Much easier to hit reverse, especially with one hand. The Jake’s setup feels legit and the brushed finish is 🔥. If you’ve got a G16 or G22, don’t think twice. Yamaha golf cart sport shifter upgrade 100%.

Love the functionality and style. Only issue I had was one of the bolts wasn’t threaded cleanly, but I worked around it. Still giving 4 stars cause the Yamaha G14-G22 sport shifter looks and feels great once on.
