Only parts you reuse from the original seat are the hip restraints (armrests) and the hinge tabs
Please Note: The backrests are separate from each other and the base seat is one piece. However, the base seat is highly contoured so it has the comfort and appearance of a bucket seat.

I contacted customer service, and they were very helpful in sending a replacement, but it took a bit longer to get the new seat.
