I purchased the Venom EV 51V 105Ah skinny battery bundle for my Yamaha Drive2 and I’m generally pleased. The “skinny” format made mounting much easier, especially since I have a custom rear seat tray that’s a tight fit.
Performance-wise, it delivers consistent power for my 18-hole days at the course and then some. I like that the lithium chemistry doesn’t fade mid-round like my old batteries used to. Charging time is around 3-4 hours, and I’m back to full range.
Only reason I gave 4 stars is because there were no installation instructions included. Luckily, I found a wiring diagram online, but it would be great to include that in the box.

Battery is fine, but my charger wasn’t compatible and I didn’t find that out until after install. Using it on a Venom EV and had to upgrade the charger separately. Now it runs great, but heads-up to anyone switching from lead-acid.
