Does this rear top strut kit work with an aluminum utility box or only the plastic ones? I’ve got a 2019 Precedent, and I’m looking for a strut set that handles a heavier load. Anyone know if this one holds up well over time?

Perfect match for my Club Car Precedent with a cargo box. Bolted right into place with no modification needed. I did knock one star off because the box arrived a bit roughed up—FedEx issue—but Prime Golf Parts quickly sent a replacement. Great customer service!

Not impressed. The holes didn’t line up perfectly on my 2020 Precedent, had to drill slightly to make it work. Was expecting a true OEM fit. Maybe my cart has aftermarket parts? Either way, disappointed this wasn’t fully plug-and-play.

These rear top struts are beefy. My Club Car utility cart handles better with this set installed. They’re compatible with both Tempo and Precedent models, which is a big win for our fleet maintenance team. Strong welds, great powder coat finish. Would buy again.

Anybody install this on a lifted Precedent with oversized tires and a heavy-duty cargo box? Just wanna be sure it won’t bend under added stress. Thinking about grabbing this kit but need more real-world feedback.
