I can’t say enough good things about the Alltrax XCT 400A controller! Installed it on my 2007 EZGO PDS, and the difference is night and day. The acceleration is much smoother, and the extra torque makes hill climbing effortless. I also noticed better battery efficiency, which was a pleasant surprise.
Installation was pretty straightforward, but I’d recommend getting heavy-duty cables and a solenoid to maximize performance. Programming was easy using the Alltrax Toolkit software, which let me fine-tune speed, regen braking, and throttle response. If you want to wake up your EZGO PDS, this is the controller to get!
