Are these shocks gas-filled or hydraulic? Do they come pre-compressed or do you need a spring compressor for install? I’m running a lifted Club Car DS from 1995 and wanna make sure the travel range is good before ordering. Anyone tried them with a 6″ lift?

The Club Car DS shock absorber works okay but FedEx delayed the delivery. Thankfully, Prime Golf Parts sent a replacement in 2 days. Installed it myself—fit was tight, but doable. Could use better packaging though; one shock came scratched.

Perfect match for my 1996 Club Car DS. These rear shocks took out the bounce and squeaks—finally! Super easy to install with basic hand tools. If you’re looking for Club Car DS suspension parts, this is a must-have. Also noticed way better control on downhill trails.

These rear shocks are pretty solid for the price. Installed ’em on my 1993 Club Car DS and the bounce is def less now. Could’ve used clearer install instructions tho. Still, if you’re after affordable golf cart shock absorbers, these do the job well.
