I bought this for my EZGO with a MAX 5 rear seat kit because we go to the beach at least twice a week. The fit was perfect and installation took less than 5 minutes. The holder keeps my chairs upright so they’re easy to grab when we arrive. I docked one star because the straps could be an inch or two longer for my oversized lounge chairs, but they still hold fine once tightened. This is one of those accessories you don’t think about until you have it — then you wonder how you ever managed without it.

Excellent build quality and super practical. I’ve loaded both small folding beach chairs and heavier padded camp chairs in this holder, and they stayed rock solid even going down bumpy boardwalk paths. The powder-coated finish looks like it will hold up well against salt air, which is important since we live near the coast. It also keeps the chairs from scratching the cart body because they’re stored upright and away from painted surfaces. Highly recommend if you use your MAX 5 rear seat for more than just passengers.

I wasn’t sure if I needed a beach chair holder for my golf cart, but after one summer trip where the chairs kept falling out, I decided to give this DoubleTake MAX 5 accessory a try. It’s incredibly easy to attach — basically a drop-in style with secure mounting points on the rear seat frame. I really like that it doesn’t rattle while driving, and the design keeps the chairs from getting sand all over the cart seats. It’s a simple product but makes beach outings much more organized.

Solid, functional, and a must-have for regular beachgoers. My only complaint is that the straps are made of standard nylon, and I think a rubberized coating would make them last even longer in salty, humid environments. That said, the frame itself is excellent quality. It fits two standard beach chairs perfectly and keeps them from sliding around.
